WELCOME TO POLICE STATE USA WELCOME TO POLICE STATE USA ISIS is to America as Hamas is to Israel
President Barack Obama has rightfully condemned the ISIS beheading of American James Foley in the strongest terms. This is what he said:

“There has to be a common effort to extract this cancer so it does not spread. There has to be a clear rejection of the kind of a nihilistic ideologies. One thing we can all agree on is group like (ISIS) has no place in the 21st century. Friends and allies around the world, we share a common security a set of values opposite of what we saw yesterday. We will continue to confront this hateful terrorism and replace it with a sense of hope and stability.”

At the same time that President Obama has called for an all-out war against the “cancer” of ISIS, he has regarded Hamas as having an easily curable disease, urging Israel to accept that terrorist group, whose charter calls for Israel’s destruction, as part of a Palestinian unity government. I cannot imagine him urging Iraq, or any other Arab country, to accept ISIS as part of a unity government.

Former President Jimmy Carter and Bishop Desmond Tutu have gone even further, urging the international community to recognize the legitimacy of Hamas as a political party and to grant it diplomatic recognition. It is hard to imagine them demanding that the same legitimate status be accorded ISIS.

Why then the double standard regarding ISIS and Hamas? Is it because ISIS is less brutal and violent than Hamas? It’s hard to make that case. Hamas has probably killed more civilians — through its suicide bombs, its murder of Palestinian Authority members, its rocket attacks and its terror tunnels — than ISIS has done. If not for Israel’s Iron Dome and the Israeli Defense Forces, Hamas would have killed even more innocent civilians. Indeed its charter calls for the killing of all Jews anywhere in the world, regardless of where they live or which “rock” they are hiding behind. If Hamas had its way, it would kill as least as many people as ISIS would.

Is it the manner by which ISIS kills? Beheading is of course a visibly grotesque means of killing, but dead is dead and murder is murder. And it matters little to the victim’s family whether the death was caused by beheading, by hanging or by a bullet in the back of a head. Indeed most of ISIS’s victims have been shot rather than beheaded, while Hamas terrorists have slaughtered innocent babies in their beds, teenagers on the way home from school, women shopping, Jews praying and students eating pizza.

Is it because ISIS murdered an American? Hamas has murdered numerous Americans and citizens of other countries. They too are indiscriminate in who they kill.
So, you think all terrorists looking to scourge America have the same general appearance?
The Western world is outraged after terrorists beheaded U.S. journalist James Foley and are now threatening the life of another American if President Barack Obama doesn’t end military operations in Iraq – but a high-profile military analyst warns things could get worse because Americans have gotten far too comfortable and may soon begin seeing the rise of the “blonde-haired, blue-eyed Muslim terrorist.”

“We’re too comfortable in this country,” said retired Navy Capt. Chuck Nash, who served more than 25 years as a naval aviator, including in temporary liaison billets ashore in Turkey and northern Iraq. “We’ve got large two oceans that have protected us. We’ve got a sieve on our southern border. There is a lot going on in the world, and we were just faced with the brutality of it. We have to realize there are just some bad people on this earth.”

He noted that a lack of U.S. border security and reports that at least 1,000 Westerners have joined the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, put U.S. security at great risk.

“I think we’re in big trouble,” Nash said. “Now you’re going to have people coming back who have experience who are not afraid to fight, are not afraid to die. They think they’re the true believers. Those people are traveling on American, British and other European passports, where they can very easily slip in under the radar.”

He added, “We’re going to see the blonde-haired, blue-eyed Muslim terrorist. We’re going to see that person. Hopefully we see that person before they complete their mission.”
Nash also argued that Obama is wrong to distance the terrorists responsible for the beheading of Foley from the Islamic faith they claim is driving their rampage across Iraq and Syria. He said the lack of a cohesive strategy against ISIS will hinder progress against the enemy.

On Tuesday, ISIS released a video showing a masked terrorist with a British accent beheading Foley. Another American reporter, Steven Joel Sotloff, was also shown on the video. ISIS vowed to kill him next unless the U.S. changes course. In a statement condemning the horrific murder, President Obama claimed the ideology of ISIS is separate from any religion.

“ISIL speaks for no religion. Their victims are overwhelmingly Muslim, and no faith teaches people to massacre innocents. No just God would stand for what they did yesterday, and for what they do every single day,” Obama said.

Obama’s full statement is available here.
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: Good afternoon, everybody.

Today, the entire world is appalled by the brutal murder of Jim Foley by the terrorist group ISIL. Jim was a journalist, a son, a brother and a friend. He reported from difficult and dangerous places, bearing witness to the lives of people a world away.

He was taken hostage nearly two years ago in Syria, and he was courageously reporting at the time on the conflict there. Jim was taken from us in an act of violence that shocks the conscience of the entire world. He was 40 years old, one of five siblings, the son of a mom and dad who worked tirelessly for his release. Earlier today, I spoke to the Foleys and told them that we are all heartbroken at their loss and join them in honoring Jim and all that he did.

Now, Jim Foley’s life stands in stark contrast to his killers. Let’s be clear about ISIL. They have rampaged across cities and villages killing innocent, unarmed civilians in cowardly acts of violence. They abduct women and children and subject them to torture and rape and slavery. They have murdered Muslims, both Sunni and Shi’a, by the thousands. They target Christians and religious minorities, driving them from their homes, murdering them when they can, for no other reason than they practice a different religion.

They declared their ambition to commit genocide against an ancient people. So ISIL speaks for no religion. Their victims are overwhelmingly Muslim, and no faith teaches people to massacre innocents. No just god would stand for what they did yesterday and what they do every single day. ISIL has no ideology of any value to human beings. Their ideology is bankrupt. They may claim out of expediency that they are at war with the United States or the West, but the fact is they terrorize their neighbors and offer them nothing but an endless slavery to their empty vision and the collapse of any definition of civilized behavior.

People like this ultimately fail. They fail because the future is won by those who build and not destroy. The world is shaped by people like Jim Foley and the overwhelming majority of humanity who are appalled by those who killed him. The United States of America will continue to do what we must do to protect our people. We will be vigilant and we will be relentless. When people harm Americans anywhere, we do what’s necessary to see that justice is done and we act against ISIL, standing alongside others. The people of Iraq, who with our support are taking the fight to ISIL must continue coming together to expel these terrorists from their community. The people of Syria, whose story Jim Foley told, do not deserve to live under the shadow of a tyrant or terrorists. They have our support in their pursuit of a future rooted in dignity.

From governments and peoples across the Middle East, there has to be a common effort to extract this cancer so that it does not spread. There has to be a clear rejection of this kind of nihilistic ideologies. One thing we can all agree on is that a group like ISIL has no place in the 21st century. Friends and allies around the world, we share a common security and a common set of values that are rooted in the opposite of what we saw yesterday. And we will continue to confront this hateful terrorism and replace it with a sense of hope and civility.

And that’s what Jim Foley stood for, a man who lived his word, who courageously told the stories of his fellow human beings, who was liked and loved by friends and family. Today, the American people will all say a prayer for those who loved Jim. All of us feel the ache of his absence. All of us morn his loss. We keep in our prayers those other Americans who are separated from their families. And we will do everything that we can to protect our people and the timeless values that we stand for. May God bless and keep Jim’s memory. And may God bless the United States of America.

Nash said while the vast majority of ISIS victims are Muslims, the president is blurring some very important lines.

“They are radical Islamists, and you cannot separate Islam from what’s being done here,” he said. “There are no Christians, Buddhists, Shintos anywhere in the ISIS organization. Let’s call it for what it is. These are radical Islamists. They have formed together to go step up from terrorism to a full-blown army to achieve what they have wanted to do since Osama bin Laden started this third jihad, and that was [t0] establish a caliphate.”

Nash doesn’t believe the beheading of an American will result in much change in the U.S. policy toward ISIS. He said the existing approach needs a massive overhaul, beginning with a comprehensive strategy.

“The strategy has three major components,” he said. “You have a diplomatic, you have a military and you have an economic (strategy). Horizontally through all that you have an intelligence component, which informs the decision-makers in the three main pillars.”

Right now, Nash said, the U.S. is simply “plinking” individual targets and is not working on a long-term plan. In addition to choking off as much money as possible, he said there should be diplomatic pressure to get Turkey into the fight in northern Iraq to assist the Kurds in the east. He said those forces plus a regrouped Iraqi army in the south should have a great impact without involving U.S. ground forces.

“We could totally envelop them and put pressure on all three fronts,” he said. “They would splinter, and at that point you roll them up. Without that full picture, we’re just flying sorties and dropping bombs. Motion should not be confused with progress.”
I believe 0bama is just spouting words and until we see action on the domestic terrorists in these riots as well as ISIS and Hamas it will “Just be words”!
Though there has never been a country in world history whose citizens have enjoyed the individual liberties found in the United States today, there have been countries whose citizens went from enjoying individual liberties to being oppressed by increasingly totalitarian rulers. Drawing from available information around us, Cheryl points out the shocking usurpations of our freedoms.”

The book describes the case of a former Marine living in Virginia.

It was August 2012, and he “was taken into custody, thrown in jail, and forcibly transferred to a hospital located nearly three hours from his home and family to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, all at the order of law enforcement officials.”

“His crime? He posted on his private Facebook page messages that painted the government in a poor light.”

Then there was the July 2013 case of a University of Virginia student. She was “swarmed by state Alcoholic Beverage Control agents who thought the carton of bottled water she was carrying across the parking lot of a grocery store was really a 12-pack of beer and she was an underage buyer.”

“She said one drew her gun, another jumped on the hood of her SUV, and still others shouted conflicting orders and flashed badges she couldn’t read. Terrified, she tried to flee in her SUV, but agents halted and arrested her, charging her with two counts of assault.

“Even the commonwealth’s attorney who investigated the incident found the case ridiculous and refused to prosecute. But the 20-year-old still spent a night in jail – for the crime of purchasing water.”
A Virginia university has decided to stop calling its newspaper “The Bullet” over concerns that the name was so insensitive and inappropriate that it could even make people violent.

The University of Mary Washington’s 96-year-old newspaper will now be calledThe Blue and Gray Press.

“The editorial board felt that the paper’s name, which alludes to ammunition for an artillery weapon, propagated violence and did not honor our school’s history in a sensitive manner,” newspaper staff said in a release issued Monday.

“The board intends to remain faithful to the history our university stands upon, and we continue to honor this history both in a respectful and meaningful way.”
