Christians are fighting gay marriage, due to their argument that marriage is specifically sanctioned by God for a man and a woman.
May I suggest to all homosexuals to use the following argument?:
“If you don’t want the US to legalize homosexual marriage for religious reasons, then the US should also illegalize:
divorce (since God hates divorce)
re-marrying (since God says it’s adultery)
pre-marital sex (since God prohibits it, and we should start stoning offenders to death)
condoms and birth control (since it’s murder).
Additionally, all US citizens who have been remarried need to have their marriages nullified. And we should follow up on all US citizens who have had pre-marital sex, and stone them to death.”
Not sure if turning their religion against them will work, but maybe using specifics like that to make a point will change a few minds?
